Last night at the Purple Theatre was a very cool scene, as usual. A bit about it: every Monday, brothers Bradley and Wade Boyer host a gathering of poets, musicians and swashbucklers in the beatnik tradition. There is some really striking new poetry read here, and a warm, friendly vibe due to the people and the artistic atmosphere of the place.
I’ve had the good fortune of being able to start providing interim music between readings, along with Wade on guitar and Dustin Roberts on percussion. I’m grateful to be a part of such a cool hang, and I’m hoping you can come out and join us!
